“Grady Pointing Specialists have just completed re-pointing all the walls of our Victorian terraced house. (June 2026) From the outset Calvin has been a pleasure to work with. He responded promptly to my request for a quote and was able to book the work in within a reasonable time frame. The information he gave about using lime mortar on an older property checked out when I investigated further. He kept me informed by text/email about e.g when the scaffolding was to be erected & his start date both of which were kept. The team turned up on time each day & stayed on the job despite some bad weather. They were polite, considerate & tidied up at the end of each day. They did a professional job visible in the finished brickwork which looks great. I highly recommend Calvin’s company. He did a professional job for a fair price and I will definitely use Grady Pointing Specialists again if I need to.”

“Calvin knows his stuff and advised us to have the re pointing done with lime mortar as we have an old 1900’s terrace house. Work was finished yesterday and the yards have been left clean and tidy. During the job there was hardly any dust because of the equipment he uses. Calvin has promised to come back after a month to check the work and just make sure everything is sorted. A few spells of bad weather meant it couldn’t be completed as soon as it could have been but the job has been done to a very high standard and it has completely transformed the look of the house. I opted to get the brickwork sealed after the re-pointing of the whole property and that in itself has brought the brick back to life. Calvin was very responsive to my messages and although I had additional requests and challenges to face, he was able to help me with great advice and suggestions. “Had a level 2 RICS survey done and needed someone to inspect a level 3 issue (our first home so navigating the home buying process for the first time is daunting). Fearing a job that could have easily cost hundreds, he got back to us within minutes, arranged a time with the homeowner and contacted me straight after the inspection telling me (he could have easily said "this needs doing, that needs doing") and we would be none the wiser. Told me straight away the issues were nothing to worry about. Would have been so easy for him to charge whatever he wanted.
